Job Description

Are you a newly Qualified candidate who is looking to join a high-growth business and join a company that have doubled in size over the past two years? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to get involved in a number of high profile projects around system implementations, acquisitions and process improvements. As a Management you will: 

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyse financial performance against budget and forecast; provide variance analysis with insightful commentary.
  • Collaborate with department heads to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
  • Produce key performance indicator (KPI) reports and dashboards for operational and financial metrics.
  • Support the Finance Director in financial planning and strategic analysis.
  • Reconcile key balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing year-end accounts and liaising with auditors during the audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Drive process improvements across the finance function, particularly in cost allocation and job profitability reporting.

As Management Accountant you will be: 

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar management accounting role.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the transport, logistics, or vehicle recovery industry (preferred but not essential).
