Job Summary

As a Strategy Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering dedicated support to victims of sexual assault. We are seeking passionate and caring individuals to join us. This is an opportunity to be a difference maker for those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Strategy Coordinator will be part of all strategy meetings with both the police and social care and advise, using strict criteria, the best route for the child or young person.
  • Ensure that children who require a child protection medical are not brought to the SARC and are directed to the most appropriate Paediatrician.
  • Ensure that all elements of the child’s attendance (acute or non-recent) are discussed in a multi-agency arena during strategy meetings.
  • When acting as Crisis Worker, provide cover for both the Paediatric and adult Forensic Services at the SARCs.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping and confidential client notes in line with protocols.
  • Liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies to meet health and psychological needs of patients.
  • Ensure secure storage of all SARC files and forensic samples for potential use in criminal investigations.

Location: Oakwood Place – Essex SARC, and Regional SARC cover (Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire). Hours: 32 hours per week. Shift patterns: 8 hour shifts, 9am – 5pm, 7 days a week. Salary: £29,699 pro rata based on 40 hours per week.
