UKR Group is looking for an experienced Wallpaper Hanger to start ASAP in a job in Reading, Berkshire.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare walls and surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks to ensure a smooth finish.
- Measure and cut wallpaper accurately to fit walls, corners, and edges.
- Apply adhesive or paste evenly to the wallpaper or wall, according to manufacturer instructions.
- Hang wallpaper strips carefully to avoid bubbles, wrinkles, or misalignment.
- Match patterns and seams precisely to ensure a seamless appearance.
- Remove old wallpaper using appropriate tools and techniques without damaging the underlying surface.
- Clean up work areas after completion, disposing of waste materials responsibly.
- Advise clients on wallpaper selection, maintenance, and care.
- Work safely using ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with clients, decorators, or contractors to meet project deadlines and specifications.
Skills:
