As the Transport Planner, you’ll be at the heart of operations — planning efficient routes, liaising with drivers, resolving day-to-day challenges, and keeping everything moving behind the scenes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and managing daily transport plans to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
- Using planning tools and Excel to optimise routes and resource allocation
- Communicating with drivers and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly
- Resolving issues quickly and professionally, maintaining high standards of customer service
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring compliance with all transport legislation
- Supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge where needed
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics planning role
- Confident user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- A methodical approach with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who stays calm under pressure
- Able to adapt quickly and use IT systems efficiently
- Someone proactive, positive, and solutions-focused
Shifts Available:
- 4 on / 4 off or
- Monday to Friday (5 on / 2 off) – whichever suits you best
