Job Overview

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Buckingham. Due to the remote location, applicants must hold a full driving license and access to a vehicle.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and will be responsible for tender pricing, risk assessments, contract drafting, and negotiations. The role involves working both supportively and independently on projects, including cost and value reconciliations, end-of-life cost reporting, cash management, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal/external colleagues
  • Manage subcontract accounts and payments
  • Handle dispute management
  • Contribute commercial input to project strategies and performance discussions

About You

  • Degree or similar qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts (Options A, B, C)
  • Experience with self-delivery works within civils contracting
  • Understanding of cost and time management
  • Enthusiastic approach with strong communication skills
  • Full driving license
