�? ASB Case Officer – Westminster City Council?? Location: Westminster, London (Agile Working)?? Rate: £30 per hour (Umbrella)?? Contract: 3+ Months (with potential for extension)

Are you passionate about safer communities and making a real difference in people's lives? Westminster City Council is looking for a dedicated and experienced ASB Case Officer to join our Housing Services team on an interim basis.

?? The Role

As an ASB Case Officer, you'll manage a varied caseload of Anti-Social Behaviour reports from residents, investigating concerns and delivering practical, person-centred resolutions. You'll play a key role in promoting safety and wellbeing across our communities, working closely with residents, internal colleagues, and external partners like the police and mental health teams.

?? Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate ASB reports, develop action plans, and conduct interviews, door knocks, and resident surgeries (some evenings required).

  • Collaborate with police, social care, and support services to tackle ASB in the community.

  • Provide consistent updates and support to residents, referring to services like Victim Support.

  • Prepare formal documentation and attend court proceedings where required.

  • Contribute to local ASB projects and initiatives in hotspot areas.

? What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing ASB or a similar caseload.

  • Confident in working independently with members of the public, often in challenging circumstances.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a community-first mindset.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and comply with GDPR and safeguarding protocols.

  • Familiarity with legal processes and enforcement in relation to ASB is desirable.
