Your Role:
As Senior Bid Manager, you will oversee a small team of bid professionals throughout the full bid lifecycle across our entire Energy business, which includes seven units. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver compelling proposals that win new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex regional and international bid opportunities, coordinating technical, commercial, financial, tax, HSSEQ, and group inputs
- Track and report on pipeline activity, deadlines, and bid quality, suggesting process improvements
- Prepare pre-qualification and tender documentation in line with company standards
- Develop a library of bid content with subject matter experts
- Produce accurate bid pricing and negotiate contract terms with input from the commercial team
- Support project managers with handover information and client aftercare
- Coordinate responses to call-offs under key client frameworks
- Maintain safety standards and report incidents
Qualifications:
- Experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary bids within consulting, professional services, marine, or construction sectors
- Leadership experience in managing a team
- Excellent bid writing skills, with the ability to present information compellingly
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
