Detailed job description and main responsibilities The Urology Department is divided into 5 teams: (A) Andrology, Penile Cancer, and Reconstruction, (B) Benign Endourology and Stones, (C) Cancer (Robotic) and Robotic Reconstruction – Upper Tract and Pelvic, (D) Functional, Female and General Urology, and (E) Emergency. Each team has at least one senior and middle grade position. These posts are replacement positions across the teams and can commence April 2025. The on-call commitment is to the urology department at St George\’s only on a 1 in 10 \”registrar of the week\” (8-5 Mon-Fri and 48 hour weekend) and a separate 1 in 10 weekday night rota.
