The Transport Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies in line with our clients strategic objectives. This is a hands-on role in raising standards and improving Fleet, Legal and Compliance. You will be the standard-bearer for operational excellence.
What will you need?
- Previous experience in a Transport Management role, ideally within Construction, Utilities, Waste or Recycling
- Experience in managing Fleet compliance and drivers.
- Proven track record in leading and empowering teams.
- Exposure to managing Transport operations across multiple offices/depots across a region.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Motivated with the ability to instil confidence in others and manage individual performance.
- CPC qualification and exemplary knowledge of drivers, transport operations and driver and vehicle compliance.
- Desire to become a product/service expert.
- LGV licence or equivalent.
