Roles and responsibilities
- We have created a new Corporate Tax Manager role due to the recent success of the Financial Services Tax team.
- The primary focus is to help lead our growing UK FS corporate tax compliance book of business, ensuring successful delivery of computations and returns, and supporting the tax technical development of the wider team.
- Research will be required when necessary, along with supporting cross-border tax compliance and tax audit engagements.
- Deliver high-quality work for clients and profitable outcomes for the business through best practices, technology, and adherence to Firm policies.
- Work closely with junior team members in our London office, delegating and reviewing work, and fostering their learning and development.
Skills, knowledge, and experience
- Qualified at ACA, CA, CTA, or equivalent (including legal/international tax qualifications).
- A strong interest in financial services and related tax issues, with experience in UK corporate tax computations for FS sector clients.
- Good understanding of broader tax, international tax, regulatory, and accounting areas.
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and oversee engagement economics.
- Work from the London office an average of 3 days a week to facilitate the delivery and delegation of tax compliance work to junior team members.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
