Job Description
Are you an experienced Commercial insurance broking sales professional, do you feel like you are undervalued at your current broker, are you are not being paid what your new business figures deserve, or perhaps just seeking a new challenge, if you answered yes to any of these, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Our client are a rapidly growing Independent Broker who have grown impressively from a standing start since they launched in 2019, and they now seek a proactive, driven and energetic commercial insurance specialist to join them as a Commercial Account Manager/Executive. You will be joining a broker who currently have 30 staff in their Head office in Winchester and who have further exciting growth plans (ad have recently launched a new office in East Anglia), looking to continue to expand over the next couple of years, and as such they seek people who want to be part of this exciting journey with them.
Those who are highly skilled Commercial Account Executives who have the ability to win new business, build a book of commercial business and retain those clients at renewal are highly sought after. There will be an existing book of business provided to you to get you started. This currently stands at £300k income, and made up of mid market clients across a range of sectors. They have a huge amount of high quality leads here to provide too you too, so this will enable you to grow your book quickly
You will be required to manage this book, and identify new business opportunities, cultivate new business relationships and grow your own book of business, and service this moving forward. There is not expectation that you bring a book of business with you, though this would of course be a bonus!
They would be keen to speak to you if you have at least 4 years plus commercial insurance broking sales based experience and a solid working knowledge of general commercial insurance across a range of classes of business, dealing with a range of commercial clients.

Basic salary on offer is £50-80k depending on skills and experience, plus car allowance and excellent bonuses. Other benefits include Death in service (x4 of salary), pension and 21 days holidays (plus bank holidays) though this may be negotiable for the right person. Free on site parking is also provided.
