Overview
Managing the day-to-day running of the warehouse, monitoring the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods. Responsible for line management of the distribution team, including warehouse and transportation staff, ensuring all delivery requirements are met.

Main Duties:

  1. Developing and implementing new warehousing systems to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
  2. Maintaining warehouse condition and arranging necessary repairs.
  3. Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements.
  4. Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information systems.
  5. Maintaining effective stock management, including stock handling, ordering, supplier relationships, stock display, stock density, rotation, and health and safety guidelines. Responsible for monthly stock takes.
  6. Enforcing health and safety policies and procedures.
  7. Monitoring tachograph records and vehicle service/repair records.
  8. Overseeing recruitment, training, and induction of new staff.
  9. Ensuring adequate staffing levels during absences and peak periods.
  10. Delegating work, managing staff workload and output.
  11. Promoting staff development, training, and disciplinary processes.
  12. Managing holiday requests and absence records.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and record keeping.
  • Full use of \’Trinity\’ system and Cyberquery.
  • Strong teamwork, management, and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of the drinks industry.
  • WMS experience preferred.
  • Previous stock control experience.

Additional Information:
Monday – Friday workweek.
A discretionary annual bonus of up to 20% may be awarded based on KPIs.
