Strategic Sourcing Manager (part-time, 4 days a week)
Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid), 60% of week in office
Annual salary + bonus and benefits
The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a new role at Haven, providing support and leadership across the business in key spend areas. This hands-on role is suited for an experienced procurement professional with broad category experience, combining technical skills with stakeholder engagement abilities.
The manager will develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business goals to maximize value while ensuring service quality and innovation.
Your Opportunity:
- Collaborate with budget holders to identify value creation opportunities
- Work with stakeholders to define needs and develop sourcing strategies
- Develop and manage Haven’s strategic sourcing plans
- Oversee sourcing and contracting processes, including RFPs, tenders, negotiations, and contracts
- Support the Head of Procurement Operations to uphold high commercial standards
Qualifications:
- Broad sourcing knowledge, preferably in hospitality and hotel management
- Extensive procurement and strategic sourcing experience
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of category management and procurement strategy promotion
- Experience in complex negotiations and supplier management
- Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize effectively
- Full driving license, with travel required
