Now Education are delighted to be working in partnership with HMP High Down who are seeking an outreach and class based teacher of Functional Skills. Job description Are you passionate about education and committed to helping learners unlock their full potential? Are you skilled in delivering entry level maths & English to adults and young people in a variety of settings, with a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those you teach? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! The role As an outreach and class based functional skills tutor at HMP High Down, you will play a crucial role in helping our learners develop their maths & English skills to ensure they can go on to do other work and activities. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons both in the education department and in designated rooms on the Prison House Blocks, tailoring your teaching to meet the needs of each individual learner. Your enthusiasm for education and dedication to our learners' success will make you a valuable asset to our team. This is an amazing opportunity to work as part of a close knit, supportive team who are committed to staff wellbeing and learner progress. This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week over 4.5 days.
