The successful candidate will work a 3 on, 3 off 12 hours shift pattern that will include both day and night shifts. They will contribute to the quality and technical areas in the Production team to enable it to produce the highest quality cheese products in a reliable and cost effective way. Duties will include:

  • Effectively run packing lines by using production IT systems
  • Perform simple maintenance tasks on packing lines
  • Maintain strict Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards within the department
  • Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems
  • Contribute to the team reporting and decision making process

What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role

  • Previous experience in an FMCG or related company
  • Food hygiene certificate
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
  • Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. OEE
  • 23 days Holiday

  • We send cheese out to Europe, North America, Africa & Asia.
  • Supplying branded products like Castello, BOB and Arla pro, along with private label to Waitrose, M&S, Asda & Aldi
  • If we lined up, side-by-side, all the 20kg blocks of cheese our Oswestry site process each year, we could plot the entire UK coastline.
  • We #feedthenation, producing and delivering 99.8% of our customer orders on time.
