We are currently supporting a local manufacturing facility that is looking for a purchasing administrator to support them due to an increase in orders. This role will be for a minimum of 2 months with a view to extend after this time.
Responsibilities for Purchasing Administrator
- Assessing demand (historical and forecast), raising purchase orders, obtaining purchase order acknowledgements, and progressing deliveries.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are very important, as is the ability to communicate well with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Excel skills, in particular vlookups and pivot tables, would be helpful; full training will be provided if needed.
- Experience in import clearance would be advantageous.
Experience for Purchasing Administrator
- Previous experience working in a purchasing/buying office is helpful; however, previous office experience is essential.
