Our aim is to provide inspiration in the form of quality pastry and sponge products which open the door to an exciting world of sweet and savoury creations. We use 100% natural ingredients to produce gourmet products with the taste and texture of homemade, but with the stability and consistency demanded by the professional kitchen. This role is suited to someone with a catering background, that can help bring our products to life through presentation and recipe ideas. This role will report to the commercial manager and be supported by the operations director and operation assistants. Full time role + Salary Competitive + Car Allowance + Commission & Bonus Plan and implement sales and customer retention and development Attend exhibitions, food shows, build relationships through networking events Support the commercial team with culinary presentation and recipe ideas from their experience in catering, to promote the Pidy brand. Collect and analyse sales data and trends Stay up to date with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales Effective communication skills both internally and externally, face to face, phone, and email Support the commercial manager by undertaking any other reasonable duties required Take a lead role in commercial negotiations with wholesalers Introduce new products and implement gap analysis with upselling You already have experience as an account manager and a catering background You have an existing network in the food sector Communication is key, both internally and externally, face-to-face, by phone and by email You must be prepared to travel in the UK, France, and Belgium Skilled at building and managing multiple relationships, internally and within our customer base
