With six established care homes and further growth planned, this provider is committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care in welcoming, homely settings where residents can live fulfilling lives.
About The Role
As Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting and enhancing the delivery of care quality and regulatory compliance across all services. Working closely with the Owners and Regional Director, you\’ll provide hands-on support to care home teams, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring services meet all relevant standards.
Responsible for the continuing development and promotion of a proactive quality assurance framework across the company
Manage and coordinate clinical audits within the services
Maintain awareness of policy and recommendations from the Department of Health, NICE, CQC, CI and other national and local advisors
Be responsible for setting up all quality matters for any new services
Plan, develop and evaluate methods and processes for gathering, analysing, interpreting and presenting a Performance and Quality Improvement Plan
Ensure the production of regular reports and information to the senior management team, identifying potential risks and any actions that may need to be taken
Monitor regulator quality ratings and assessments. Review and direct actions as necessary to continually improve ratings
Implement plans to tackle underperformance
Maintain evidence, reports and standards to achieve a minimum CQC rating of \”Good\” and CI rating of \”5\”
Reviewing existing procedures to ensure they meet the current relevant guidelines

About You
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced quality professional with a strong understanding of elderly care regulation and service delivery.
Minimum 3 years\’ experience in a quality role within an elderly care setting as a Quality Lead, Quality Manager, or Head of Quality
In-depth knowledge of CQC and CI regulations
Experience with care planning and quality systems
Experience with audit processes, safeguarding, and risk management
Ability to write and embed policies and procedures
Experience of LSI and safeguarding
Familiar with risk management
UK driving license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel across Scotland and England (including overnight stays)
Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN
Previous registered care home management experience within a nursing home
Experience using Nourish and Radar care management systems
