About the Team
Our Corporate Tax specialists within the EY Private and Mid-Market team work with a broad spectrum of businesses β from owner-managed and multi-generational family enterprises to PE-backed and AIM-listed companies. These businesses span various stages of the lifecycle, from start-up through to established multinational.
We deliver a mix of tax compliance and advisory services, covering areas such as:
- M&A structuring and due diligence
- Exit planning and succession
- Group reorganisations
- International expansion and structuring
Most importantly, we act as trusted advisors, ensuring our clients benefit from the full range of EY services to support their business goals.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Tax Senior to join our growing Private Tax and Mid-Market team in London. You will work with an impressive client base and play a key role in expanding our network and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted day-to-day contact
- Support and manage the delivery of complex tax advisory and compliance engagements
- Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and supporting pitches
- Deliver technically sound and commercially practical solutions
- Collaborate with colleagues across EY to offer holistic services to clients
About You
- Strong technical expertise in UK Corporate Tax
- Strategic and commercial acumen
- Strong tax technical skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- High standards of quality and attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience in UK corporate tax, ideally in a mid-market or private client context
- Strong technical tax knowledge and proven ability to manage advisory and compliance engagements
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification such as ICAS, ACA, CTA, or equivalent (e.g. Tax Inspectors Training Programme, law or other tax specialist qualification
