About us:

Student Futures is a major multi-year programme delivering a number of projects and it is one of three programmes which the Transformation Office Directorate are responsible for delivering. The Transformation Office manages and delivers transformational change, in line with the University\’s wider ambitions set out in the Strategy 2026 and Vision 2029.

King’s College London are seeking to appoint several Senior Education Support Officer posts which will support one or more of our faculties with a range of education support processes, as well as supporting the delivery of the Student Futures programme.

This post will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Student Futures initiatives and new ways of working as well as supporting the day-to-day administration of programme and quality-related processes within the faculty which may include supporting programme delivery, programme change and development work, and assuring data quality. The post holder will work with key stakeholders both within designated faculties and across the College to ensure project milestones and core processes are delivered both timely and effectively, and in accordance with both Faculty and University priorities, requirements and policies.

We are looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic individual who can work flexibly and collaboratively. The successful candidate will have proven organisation and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deal with competing and shifting priorities, often to tight deadlines, with a sound knowledge of student facing administration in higher education.

You will also support the development and implementation of a University-wide attendance and engagement monitoring tool and participate in relevant training and workshops to ensure the effective operation of new systems and processes.

Further responsibilities include: supporting faculty-level meetings and committees by organising meetings, drafting agendas, writing minutes, and tracking actions. You will assist with quality assurance processes, including annual monitoring, periodic programme reviews, and various data reporting functions. It is essential to maintain up-to-date knowledge of programme administration and quality assurance procedures, working independently to meet annual, termly, or monthly deadlines.

Throughout all tasks, you must ensure your work is completed professionally, promptly, and with appropriate confidentiality and sensitivity. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with academic and professional services staff across Departments, Faculty, and College is key. You will also be expected to work flexibly as part of a team, supporting colleagues during peak periods and covering staff absences when required. Finally, you will undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the grade of the post.

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered a 12-month fixed term contract.

About you:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to draft documents and correspondence for a broad range of audiences and present information clearly.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to maintain high levels of accuracy when dealing with large volumes of documentation.
