Job description

Job description

Junior Science Technician needed for a September 2024 start. 25 hours per week.

Wye School is part of United Learning, a group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England. Schools within United Learning work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could.

Wye School opened in September 2013 with a single intake of Year 7 students who delivered our excellent first GCSE results in August 2018, followed by strong GCSE and then A Level results in following years. We are a mixed comprehensive school. Ofsted praised our, ‘very vibrant and strong leadership… clear and aspirational vision,’ and, ‘high level of ambition for the students and the school’.

We are now looking to add to our close-knit team of dedicated and dynamic support staff. We want to appoint a Junior Science Technician to work closely with our Senior Science Technician and Science department.

Applications will be considered on receipt. Suitable candidates will be interviewed on receipt of application and Wye School reserves the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

United Learning is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. A DBS (previously CRB) check is required for all successful applicants.
