Job Description: Fire & Flood Restoration Engineer
Location: South east
Duration: Perm role
Start date: As soon as possible.
Salary: 33-38k per annum DOE

We are a growing, premium damage response business based in Watford servicing clients across London, the Home Counties, and the Southeast.
We are looking for highly competent, experienced individuals to join our Leak detection and water damage team, whose main priority is to deliver the high service levels we are known for, to the properties and individuals we service.
As a specialist High Net Worth Leak detection & water damage technician, you will attend properties affected by water damage, assess the cause of damage, identify other factors, and potentially set a program of works to restore the property.
Our work is within the high-net-worth insurance sector, meaning we are instructed by insurance companies and must work within specific guidelines and criteria. We are expected to respond promptly and manage each disaster efficiently and effectively.
What We Will Do
- Arrive promptly on scene and manage expectations.
- Perform mitigating works to prevent secondary damage; our vehicles are loaded, and our technicians trained and prepared.
- Survey the peril accurately to understand the decisions needed for an effective response.
- Potentially remove and assess all damaged contents.
- Apply antimicrobial treatments to address mould and hygiene issues.
- Design a drying program that provides an effective solution for all parties.
- Install emergency drying equipment to prevent secondary damage.
