Overview
Join to apply for the Illustrator role at Games Workshop Group PLC. The Black Library art and design team seeks an Illustrator to produce evocative illustrations that capture characters, settings and stories of the Warhammer universes.
Responsibilities
- Work as the sole illustrator in Black Libraryβs internal art and design team, producing detailed, fantastical illustrations for products including novel covers, large-scale battle scenes, internal illustrations and vignettes.
- Create visually engaging illustrations for Black Library products while working to specified briefs and deadlines.
- Apply strong digital and traditional drawing and painting skills, understand print constraints, and produce highly rendered, IP-accurate art.
- Maintain good art practice, engage with the wider Art and Design team to seek and provide feedback, and implement changes positively.
- Continuously develop techniques and make productive connections to further understanding.
Qualifications
- Experienced Illustrator with impressive drawing skills and a strong portfolio of published work.
Location & Benefits
Location: Head Office in Lenton, Nottingham. This is a full-time office-based position.
Benefits include 33 days holiday per year (including public holidays), matching contributory pension up to 7.5%, profit share bonus (subject to profit targets), Share Save scheme, and staff discount of 25%β50% on products.
