Butler/Valet
An apartment in Mayfair is owned by a couple (no children – no pets) and they are in need of a person to do the following duties:
Main duties:
- Informal service of drinks and meals. Managing dinner parties and receptions with the support of the EA.
- Miscellaneous driving (to appointments, airport, country house, events).
- Light packing and unpacking for travel, polishing shoes, making sure all clothes and accessories are in order.
- Basic cooking required (light lunch, snacks), laying the table for dinner and heating up dinner as directed.
- Running miscellaneous errands, shopping online and in-store.
- Weekend work from time to time (approximately 1 in every 3 weeks when they go to the country house in Hampshire which is 1h30m drive away).
- Managing maintenance, service and paperwork for the car (congestion charge, parking payment etc).
There are 2 housekeepers at the house, so usually no cleaning is required; however, you must be willing to help out where necessary, changing light bulbs and doing basic maintenance tasks, managing utilities, service of electrical.
Working hours: options depending on agreed schedule.
11am – 7pm / 12pm – 8pm / 2pm – 10pm. Monday – Friday.
Salary: £50-55K GPA negotiable depending on the candidate.
