We are offering a rare opportunity to work with the number one global brand in its category as a Transport Manager.

Would you like to work for an internationally renowned food company that values its people and knows how to have fun?

Reporting to the Site Director and managing a large team, you will be part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and lead the transport division, playing a critical role in the operational success of the business.

You should be experienced in working in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include managing six direct reports and overseeing a team responsible for coordinating complex delivery schedules.

This business has achieved its top position through a commitment to quality and service excellence and is continually seeking to improve operations, including undergoing two major system upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of Transport Legislation, Working Time Directive, and Tachograph law; current CPC (National) holder, with CPC (International) desirable
  • Experience with Telematics and transport route planning tools, along with general IT skills
  • Good financial acumen and experience managing a transport operation
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing successful teams through encouragement, inspiration, and enabling team members to excel
