Working with over 200 extensively trained Security Personnel during peak periods, we focus on developing and implementing comprehensive security supply chain strategies. Our operations involve delivering security resolutions to major Logistics providers across an extensive depot network, spread over 50 sites in the UK, ensuring their operation is running smoothly 24/7.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Security Support Officer to join our team, working within our Warehouse andDistribution depots, supporting our exisiting clients.You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and excellent customer service to both our clients and service users.
Brief overview of the role:
- Supporting multiple busy sites that all operate 365 days a year, you will need to be computer literate with a good telephone manner and a positive customer service approach to everything you do.
- In this role you would be supporting with the cover of absences primarily across 4 sites, post Codes WR9, TF2, TF9 and SY5.
- Due to the site locations, you will need to have a full driving license and your own vehicle, travel expenseswill be paid back and are processed monthly.
- 42 hour week (this will normally consist of 3-4 x 12 hour shifts worked across a 7 day week including weekends | shifts will vary and will include days and nights, therefore a degree of flexibility will be
- Premiums are paid for Bank Holiday workingOvertime will be available
- Options of Weekly or Monthly pay
- SIA License Renewal and Top Courses will be covered following successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
The role will include supporting with cover across multiple sites, training will be given, and duties will include:
- Supporting with site visits
- Access and Egress Control
- Reception Duties – Signing in Visitors/Contractors and answering the phone
- Monitoring CCTV
- Accepting Deliveries
- Weighbridge Operation
- Key Control
- Pool Car Bookings
- Completion of relevant company and client paperwork
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in the security industry (1 year)
- Good level of verbal and written English
- PC Literate, able to use Office365 to complete Excel documents and respond to emails
- SIA Licence (SG/DS) required.
- UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle required.
- First aid certification preferred.
- Be flexible and able to work a mixture of shifts, some at short notice.
- Be physically fit and patrol effectively by foot.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
- High standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability.
