Production Team Leader Telford Up to circa £31,000 per annum (including S.A) Double days -6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (Earlier finish on a Friday) 25 days annual leave + Stats Healthcare Cash plan Company Pension Life Assurance Employee Assistance Programme Employee Discount Scheme Im working with a well-established, national, multi-site manufacturing business who have some imminent growth plans for their Telford site, so they need to recruit an additional Production Team Leader to support the manufacturing plant with the extra orders that are now coming through the facility. As they are already leaders in their sector, and have a well-trusted and respected brand, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work in a driven and experienced team in a fast paced, and growing business. The Production Team Leader will be responsible for: Leading a large team of production and machine operatives Ensuring the operators work to the correct quality, health and safety standards Overseeing new starter introductions and referring or inductions Completing return to works and managing and absences Measuring each lines performance and recording information through the ERP system Implementing improvements on the line based on findings Ensure operator training is all up to date and compliant Support the Supervisor with achieving shift KPIs Skills and Experience Previous experience in leading a team of manufacturing operatives Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to use IT systems effectively This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Production Team Leader / Production Supervisor / Shift Supervisor Experience within a metal / fabrications environment would be ideal but its not essential as all manufacturing sectors will be considered The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
