Macquarie Asset Management\’s Private Credit portfolio includes debt investments across various industry sectors and geographies, primarily in the US, UK, and Europe. The focus areas include renewable energy (solar and wind), utility assets (water, gas, electricity), traditional infrastructure (roads, rail, airports), digital infrastructure, social housing, real estate, and increasing exposure to core plus infrastructure.

Role Overview

We seek a finance, banking, or investment professional to join the Portfolio Monitoring Team. The role involves working closely with origination and investment teams to monitor and manage a portfolio of assets. Responsibilities include reviewing financial models and assumptions, covenanted deliverables (financial statements, ratios, operating reports, ESG reporting), and credit rating assessments. You will support waiver and consent processes, analyze risk profile changes, and prepare summaries for proposals. Flexibility across multiple workstreams such as portfolio reporting, ad hoc projects, and investor communications is essential.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of experience with the following:

  • Ability to interpret financial statements and cash flows
  • Experience preparing financial analysis reports or memorandums
  • Knowledge of debt characteristics and credit risk assessment in private debt markets
  • Understanding of infrastructure assets is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with financial models
  • Understanding of due diligence processes and verifying assumptions
  • Background in debt documentation is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and curiosity for positive change and initiatives
