We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP, User Experience Design to join our Digital Marketing Team. This role is located in London, UK – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Contribute to the development and ongoing optimization of BNY’s global websites by designing user-centred, accessible, and high-performing experiences that bring it in line with the innovative, AI-forward organization that BNY is.
- Partner with cross-functional teams – including Content, SEO, Analytics, MarTech, Developers and Legal/Compliance – to deliver experiences that are usable, brand-aligned and legally compliant.
- Apply and evolve our Web Design System in collaboration with authors/publishers and developers to create scalable design solutions that meet brand, accessibility and usability standards.
- Support a culture of continuous, data-driven improvement by incorporating insights from research, performance analytics and A/B testing into your design decisions.
- Drive UX best practice across projects, advocating for user needs, facilitating design workshops and designing templates, and navigational patterns that improve the site’s overall structure and user journeys.
- Help shape and uphold UX governance by contributing to standards, documentation and processes that ensure quality and consistency across or digital ecosystem.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor\’s degree in user experience, human computer interaction, psychology, design or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree a plus.
- A number of years of UX or product design experience required, with a strong portfolio ideally demonstrating work on complex web ecosystems, enterprise-level websites or regulated industries. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Fluency in Figma, user flows, wireframes, interaction design and prototyping.
- Experience planning and conducting UX research (e.g. usability testing, stakeholder interviews, heuristic reviews) to inform design decisions and support data-driven improvements.
- A strong collaborator who is comfortable working across marketing, engineering, legal and compliance.
- Strong grasp of accessibility standards, responsive design and modular design systems.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, and deliver clear design explorations, recommendations and solutions.
