Purpose
Feed the pulpers according to the daily loading sheet, complying with working instructions and safety guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Pick bales of pulp/converting broke, de-wire (pulp unit and single bale), and load onto conveyor as per the specified loading schedule, entering details into the stock management system.
- Familiarize with the functioning and automation of plant equipment.
- Operate de-wiring conveyor, pulper feed conveyors, and steel wire baler.
- Identify potential contaminants in bales and isolate them.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report faults.
- Operate equipment following training guidelines.
- Maintain equipment to ensure daily operation as per work instructions.
- Assist with operation and cleaning of the paper machine as required, including all trained tasks.
- Comply with standards for quality, environment, and health and safety.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area.
- Adhere to health and safety rules.
