Castle Employment Group is working with a well-established manufacturer in North Yorkshire to recruit a Quality Inspector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to play a key role in ensuring product quality and safety in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Inspect composite and metallic components using technical drawings and process instructions.
- Perform goods inward inspections, validating parts against specifications.
- Operate or program CMMs and 3D scanning tools (experience with Wenzel Quartis/VX Elements is a plus).
- Validate paint quality using DFT, WFT, gloss and pinhole gauges.
- Ensure all inspections comply with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and job cards.
- Work collaboratively with production teams and report on opportunities for process improvement.
Who We\’re Looking For:
- Experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in using manual measurement tools (verniers, micrometers, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Background in composite materials and adhesives (beneficial).
- Experience in cleanroom or electrical assembly environments (advantageous).
