Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will oversee residential and commercial office construction and fit-out projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing project activities, coordinating information flow, and maintaining safety, quality, and progress standards. The role requires strong client-facing skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.
Pre-Contract Responsibilities
- Develop scope of work, KPIs, and meeting schedules
- Lead design and planning strategies, including reporting structures
- Manage procurement, tender processes, and risk assessments
- Create project execution plans and define roles and responsibilities
Post-Contract Responsibilities
- Ensure project setup and manage construction phase progress
- Monitor and report on design, cost, risk, time, safety, and quality
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Oversee project close-out and client satisfaction
- Mentor team members and support business development
Requirements
- Project management professional certification or pursuing one
- Degree or equivalent in construction or related field
