They do car services, repairs and diagnostics at customers\’ homes or workplaces. We offer a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based vehicle technicians to join our rapidly growing team. What you\’ll get with the RAC

  • You\’ll enjoy a market-leading base salary of £43,625 (Including £5,000 London Weighting Allowance if applicable) and the chance to boost your earnings to £52,000 with bonuses and overtime.

  • You love variety. You\’ll carry out services, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on peoples\’ driveways. The job also involves stock management, reporting, and customer communication.
  • You can think on your feet. We trust our mechanics to make the best decisions for our customers, dealing with a variety of issues and meeting different people every day.

You\’ll need:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3 years practical experience as a vehicle technician in the motor trade working with different types of light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving license with less than 6 points.
