Description : ISS Market Intelligence is offering an exciting, fast-paced, team-oriented sales environment for someone looking to start a career in financial services sales. Gain experience under the mentorship of a seasoned sales team and begin building your reputation. In this role, you will market to and interact with representatives from large financial institutions, including Heads of Distribution, Strategy, Product, and Business Intelligence. Use this experience to advance into Account Management or a senior Sales role.
The European Business Development Representative will identify new business prospects across ISS MI’s suite of products. Ideal candidates are results-driven and highly motivated to generate new opportunities and grow existing relationships. Use creativity to communicate, schedule meetings, and build relationships with C-Level executives. Collaborate with senior colleagues to determine sales strategies and identify accounts for prospecting based on activity potential. Develop proficiency in the asset management industry, including Distribution Intelligence, Research, and Industry Trends.

Responsibilities:
- Establish a good understanding of all ISS MI products and services and their markets
- Target, research, and assist the sales team in creating new leads across all verticals
- Prospect within the EMEA territory to identify and qualify new leads
- Help shorten the sales cycle where possible
- Manage inbound leads from marketing campaigns and website traffic, qualifying leads and setting meetings
- Assist in developing and growing a geographical sales territory
- Provide feedback from interactions back into the business
- Attend relevant industry events
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Research teams on campaigns
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English and another European language is advantageous
- Experience in financial services sales is a plus but not necessary
- Ability to use lead generation software and learn new technologies quickly (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoominfo)
- Highly organized, goal-oriented, and independent thinker
- Excellent communication skills
- Innovative and customer-focused mindset

- High personal and professional integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
