Due to our ongoing growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in our organization, managing and controlling the financial aspects of our mechanical and electrical projects. Working closely with our project teams, you will provide accurate costings, manage budgets, and ensure the profitability of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for mechanical and electrical projects across various sectors.
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and addressing any variances or issues.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate and finalize contract terms and pricing.
- Evaluate and assess contract documents, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts.
- Assist in the procurement process, including the selection and appointment of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide regular financial reports and updates to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the mechanical and electrical sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
