0452-25 The project involves the evaluation of Mental Health Joint Response Car (MHJRC) for young people. Through four iterative workstreams, we will produce evidence on the quality and accessibility of the MHJRC for young people, and how the MHJRC can operate effectively within health and social care services.You will be the lead researcher supporting the health economic evaluation of the project. This includes developing the survey for young people and parents, supporting the design of the health economic evaluation, analysing the data. You will liaise with key stakeholders and teams, and ensure key milestones are met. You will also be responsible for writing up the research findings for publications and other dissemination avenues and supporting other project-related tasks as needed (e.g. writing reports). You will be required to work as part of a team and be able to work independently and flexibly.You will have a degree in a relevant quantitative discipline (mathematics, statistics, or economics). You will have experience of quantitative research methods and analyses. Knowledge and experience of statistical software packages is essential as is working as part of a multidisciplinary team is essential. The ideal candidate would have an interest in mental health research. The post will be based in the Division of Health Research at Lancaster University (Health Innovation One) and may involve travel within the region.Our team and the Division of Health Research provides a friendly environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee and actively promotes a healthy work-life balance. The Faculty is committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies and has held a Silver Athena SWAN award since 2014 in recognition of its good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education and research.This is an ongoing 3-year research project funded by the NIHR HSDR funding stream. The position is available immediately. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements, within a full-time contract. This role could be undertaken as a hybrid-working position with a minimum of three days a week working at Health Innovation One, Lancaster University.You will join Lancaster University on an indefinite contract however the role remains contingent on external funding which at this time is due to end on 28thFebruary 2027.Applicants wishing to consider the Skilled Worker Route should ensure they meet the points requirement before applying.
