Senior Girlswear Designer

A leading fashion supplier is seeking a Senior Girlswear Designer to execute the entire design process and deliver high-quality, trend-led collections that meet client expectations and market demands. You will design commercially viable ranges for key supermarket accounts, by keeping up with fashion trends and consumer preferences.
As the Senior Girlswear Designer, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on design direction and delivery timelines. You will travel to production locations to build and maintain strong relationships with factories and suppliers.
You will produce detailed technical designs for factories, including comprehensive specifications to guide product sampling.
Engaging directly with clients and their customers, you will present design concepts and final ranges, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer appeal.
A key responsibility will be trend research and forecasting. This includes conducting shopping trips, sourcing samples, and identifying emerging trends to drive design innovation.
You must also be confident in mentoring junior members of the team.
