Job Description:
Our client is a global supplier to the high street. They are currently recruiting for an ambitious and confident Assistant Merchandiser/Sales Support to join their team. This role involves assisting account managers and merchandise teams across multiple high street accounts.
- Negotiating prices with factories and customers
- Raising new orders internally and sending to overseas factories/in-country merchandisers
- Checking all details on customer contracts
- Liaising daily with factories/in-country merchandisers via email and phone regarding approvals/rejections
- Updating and analyzing internal and customer critical paths
- Conducting weekly Skype calls with factories
- Sending sample submissions – lab dips/strike-offs to customers
- Coordinating between licensing and QC departments for sample approvals
- Liaising with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Collaborating with the design department for design issues and high-resolution artwork requests
- Checking label artworks and approving factory samples
- Identifying production issues and resolving problems
- Reading test reports and sending production pieces to the lab
- Maintaining strong customer relationships
- Attending customer meetings
