Berry Recruitment are currently seeking Production Line Operatives for a client based in outskirts of Maidstone β Headcorn.
Efficient, reliable and organised individual needed for immediate start!
Working hours are: Monday to Friday: 7am-3pm and/or 3pm-11pm β rotating on the weekly basis with the opportunity to do some overtimes during the weekends.
Pay is Β£13.50 p/h , overtime Β£20.25 p/h
The positions available are long term and ongoing opportunities, with the possibility of permanent contracts.
- Ensure all products are made to company specification including, temperature, weight, photo standards, CCP, reporting all failures to Team supervisor and/or shift manager.
- Assemble, decanting and blending of quality products to company standards and production plan requirements at all times, reporting any failures.
- Provide information of issues to ensure improvements are captured and implemented.
- Help maintain GMP by keeping work area/line clean and tidy.
- Pasteuriser, Pre-cooler and Computerised control panel
- Ensure all products are processed within the required heating and chilling temperatures.
- Control wastage of all materials used on equipment, reporting any issues to team supervisor and/or shift manager
- To ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- To ensure compliance with hygiene and housekeeping requirements.
- To work as part of the team to reduce downtime and waste and to improve productivity levels.
Skills:
- Good level of numerical and analytical ability.
- Good planning and coordinating skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of working within a food manufacturing role in a factory would be desirable.
- Good knowledge of food/drinks manufacturing processes is desirable
- Machine Operator experience is preferred but not essential
