Job Description:
What is the opportunity? This position is full-time and mainly based at our 12 Smithfield Street, London office. From mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors are expected to work in the office, with some flexibility to work remotely up to 1 day per week depending on arrangements.
What will you do?
- Understand and assist in processing the group\’s monthly income numbers.
- Understand month-to-month movements and provide relevant accruals and provisions.
- Analyze, understand, and assist in reporting of the Funds under management and provide regular reports for senior management.
- Understand and interpret the monthly trading activity of RBCEL and report against plan.
- Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations across RBC & RBC Brewin Dolphin systems.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly returns for RBC Head Office.
- Assist in the annual budget process.
- Support half and full-year audits.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Strong academic background with good A-levels or equivalent.
- Interest in beginning or continuing with ACCA/CIMA.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and IF statements.
- Ability to work in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Keen eye for detail and inquisitive mindset.
- Drive to learn quickly and develop in the role.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with finance systems like TM1, Pegasus Opera GL, or similar.
- Experience with Power BI.
