Job Description:

What is the opportunity? This position is full-time and mainly based at our 12 Smithfield Street, London office. From mid-September 2025, all employees and contractors are expected to work in the office, with some flexibility to work remotely up to 1 day per week depending on arrangements.

What will you do?

  1. Understand and assist in processing the group\’s monthly income numbers.
  2. Understand month-to-month movements and provide relevant accruals and provisions.
  3. Analyze, understand, and assist in reporting of the Funds under management and provide regular reports for senior management.
  4. Understand and interpret the monthly trading activity of RBCEL and report against plan.
  5. Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations across RBC & RBC Brewin Dolphin systems.
  6. Assist with monthly and quarterly returns for RBC Head Office.
  7. Assist in the annual budget process.
  8. Support half and full-year audits.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  1. Strong academic background with good A-levels or equivalent.
  2. Interest in beginning or continuing with ACCA/CIMA.
  3. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and IF statements.
  4. Ability to work in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  5. Keen eye for detail and inquisitive mindset.
  6. Drive to learn quickly and develop in the role.

Nice-to-have:

  1. Experience with finance systems like TM1, Pegasus Opera GL, or similar.
  2. Experience with Power BI.
  3. Knowledge of Financial Services.
  4. Degree or equivalent is a plus.
