About the Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Ecommerce Manager – Japanese Speaking to join our Ecommerce team on a full-time basis for 12 months. This role will be based in our Merton office.
Oversees the overall e-commerce strategy, operations, and performance. Responsible for driving sales and improving customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the New Ecommerce Japan website locale.
- Act as the main point of contact for all B2C Japan locale e-commerce operations, overseeing website management, supply chain, fulfilment, and customer service.
- Manage Japan partner instructions and guidelines, coordinating activities related to Japan locale operations.
- Monitor, track, and report on all Japan locale revenue, sales, and targets, ensuring milestones are met.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking within the Japan e-commerce landscape.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Japan ecommerce team, ensuring optimal website performance.
- Oversee website merchandising, data management, and project timelines.
- Track and analyse sales performance and key metrics, providing insights for strategies.
- Conduct site audits and implement initiatives to improve customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX).
- Collaborate with Buying and Commercial teams to align trading strategies.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
- Maintain online processes and guidelines for website teams and Japanese partners.

Profile & Key Skills
- Strong leadership with successful team and project management experience.
- Proficient in B2C platforms, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), HTML, XML, and SEO.
- Experienced in data reporting and analysis using SAP and Excel.
- Expertise in UI, UX, and Customer Experience (CX).
- Japanese (Mandatory), Chinese (Preferred), English (Mandatory).
