Job Description:

Bus Technician – Gloucestershire Area

£20.60 per hour | Mon–Fri | 47.5 hours per week

On-call 1 week in 6-8 (additional £175/week payment)

We’re looking for an experienced Bus Technician to support two busy depots in the Gloucestershire area. You’ll be part of a reliable and friendly engineering team, carrying out maintenance on a well-maintained fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Routine mechanical maintenance including servicing, brake and exhaust repairs, and air systems
  2. Fault diagnosis and plug-and-play electrical work
  3. Working a consistent Mon–Fri schedule

Your Profile

  1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle repair
  2. Background in HGV, PSV, or automotive
  3. Mechanically confident, with basic electrical knowledge
  4. Willingness to be on-call periodically (paid)

What You’ll Receive

  1. Monday–Friday hours with great work/life balance
  2. £175/week additional for on-call cover (approx. once every 6–8 weeks)
  3. Overtime opportunities at flat rate
  4. Permanent contract with full benefits package
