Overview
We are looking for an experienced SaaS functional/technical domain specialist to join our CSS team in the UK. The domain expert will provide consultancy and advisory to strategic customers, translating ideas and concepts into implementable, supportable designs, and providing technical solutions aligned with Oracle standards. This role involves applying industry best practices in customer engagements and working with Oracle SaaS/PaaS products within the Customer Success Services (CSS) team. Experience in maintaining and supporting customers\’ eBusiness Suite applications and Fusion SaaS, on-site or remotely, and implementing and running PaaS solutions such as Oracle Integration Cloud/SOA and integrations to Oracle SaaS products is required. The role includes developing, integrating, and implementing application components including front-end development, internal database integration, and OTBI reports. The ERP Domain Specialist ensures solution architecture feasibility and mitigates risk by leveraging a network of subject matter experts. The ERP Architect/domain specialist is also capable of proposing customer roadmaps to realize the proposed solution.
UK SC is required but don’t disclose the fact you have SC until requested by Oracle Security Admin team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate as Functional/Technical leader or advisor in service activity streams such as gap analysis, solution design, proofs of concept, demonstrations, requirements gathering, business analysis, project delivery, and quality assurance with other Oracle teams at client locations or offshore teams.
- Document and review Requirement Specifications Documents.
- Analyze business requirements, participate in functional design, and document/review Functional Specification documents.
- Travel as required to client locations onsite (within and outside UK) for implementations and participate in product walkthroughs and POC workshops.
- Collaborate with onsite and client personnel during implementations to ensure project success.
- Adhere to defined standards/tools/processes to achieve work that meets quality expectations of Oracle/Client.
- Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes and Oracle/Client requirements.
- Adhere to the Change Control Process and align with audit/compliance requirements.
- Perform accurate handover/knowledge transfer at end of each assignment.
- Provide timely status reporting to supervisor.
What You’ll Bring / Primary Skills And Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle applications, SaaS and PaaS solutions, with at least 6+ years in SaaS implementation. Proven ERP experience in consultancy or customer sites.
- Domain expertise in finance, with experience in General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
- Fluency in English; self-starter capable of working independently and with teams.
- Detailed functional knowledge of Oracle SaaS (eBusiness Suite is a plus) within at least one industry.
- Ability to collaborate and connect with client business teams independently; analyze solution approaches, estimations, standard methodologies, project risks, and recommendations.
- Ability to map client requirements to off-the-shelf products or features and decide whether to adapt or build new systems.
- Ability to participate in and lead project meetings and product walkthrough workshops with customers.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills; ability to translate business requirements into technology specifications.
- Experience in implementing and/or supporting Oracle Fusion SaaS and PaaS from functional and technical perspectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
- Willingness to work offshore and travel to client locations for short/medium/long-duration assignments.
- Willingness to pursue Oracle SaaS certifications as required.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment; solid understanding of multiple business industries.
- Knowledge of FMW/PaaS development tools is a plus.
- SC clearance or eligibility to be security cleared and willing to undergo SC clearance.
- UK personnel minimum requirements; UK Nationals eligible to support UK Government Environments may apply. Documentation may include UK Passport, UK Birth Certificate, or UK Naturalization Certificate.
