Description
- SCHEDULE:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday (M,W,F 8:00am-5:00pm) and every fourth weekend (Weekends 7:00am-11:00am)
Assists the Farm Manager and the Field and Equipment Lead in animal and crop-raising tasks on beef-crop farm by performing the following duties. This position works approximately 15 – 20 hours per week, which includes every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities
- Feeds and waters livestock and operates feed room equipment.
- Cleans barns, stables, and pens.
- Sort and move cattle from pens to loading or treatment areas.
- Stacks bales of hay and straw onto/into wagon, truck or barn.
- Drives tractor to plow, harrow, and fertilize soil, and cultivate, spray, and harvest crops.
- Administers simple medications to livestock.
- Hauls feed and hay to livestock.
- Operates, repairs, and maintains farm implements and mechanical equipment.
- Repairs farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
- Hauls livestock and products to market.
- Cleans plows, combines, tractors, trucks and other farm equipment.
- Mow grass and weed-eat around buildings, shrubs and fences.
- Operate a chain saw.
- Plant crops
