Job Description:

How you will make an impact

  • Support a well-invested, fast-paced food manufacturing site with critical equipment maintenance & engineering by carrying out reactive, planned & preventative, and servicing activities.
  • Drive structure problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives to improve site and equipment efficiency and minimise downtime.
  • Utilize CMMS systems and reporting suites (SAP PM).
  • Support site projects including non-capex modification and CAPEX.

Equipment includes: milk pasteurisation, homogenisers, separators, process systems, evaporators, compact dryers, various fillers, palletisers, de-palletisers, conveyor lines (chain, spiral), robots, vision systems, Spectrum TX rejection system, X-ray checkers, industrial dryers, refrigerated rooms, steam generators, water softeners, cooling towers, heat exchangers, CHP systems, air handling units, HVAC, water treatment, steam boilers, chillers, compressors.

What will make you successful

  • Ambition & drive.
  • Experience as a multiskilled engineer (Engineering Technician / Maintenance Engineer / Engineering Technician), mechanically, electrically, or multiskilled.
  • Time served apprenticeship / NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC / HND qualification or proven experience.
  • Ideally experience within a fast-paced automated and safety-critical manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literacy – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMIs.
