Fixed-Term 12-Month Contract | Full-Time | Lead with heart and purpose
Are you dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and enriching environment for children? St Ann’s Outside School Hours Care is seeking a motivated and experienced Coordinator to lead our large, vibrant service (104 children).
Our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) supports children and families with a safe and rewarding environment during before school, after school, and vacation care for the St Ann’s Primary school community.
We offer a flexible, child-initiated program with educators incorporating children’s ideas, cultures, and interests when planning each day’s experiences. Our team will drop off and collect children from St Ann’s Primary School each day.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, perfect for an experienced leader looking to make a meaningful impact.
About the Role
- Oversee daily operations of Before School, After School, and Vacation Care
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated educators
- Design engaging, play-based programs tailored to children’s interests
- Build trusted relationships with children, families, and the school community
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, safety, and quality standards
- Promote our values-led service within the local community
What You’ll Need
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Blue Card, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Willingness to act as the Nominated Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of NQF, MTOP, and regulatory frameworks
- Previous experience leading an OSHC or similar service
- Confident using childcare software (Xplor preferred)
- Proven leadership and people development skills
