Embark on a new adventure with Rubicon\’s client – a leader in cutting-edge maritime technology. We\’re searching for a dedicated Maritime Operations Officer to support the Head of Operations in ensuring that clients’ vessels stay safe and informed, navigating the world’s waters with confidence.

As Maritime Operations Officer you’ll work from modern and open plan offices. You’ll benefit from 25 days holiday + plus BH’s, free parking, pension scheme, health care benefits after 3 months and the opportunity to progress within a growing business

This is a full-time role involving shift-based work, including weekends, to ensure operational coverage.

As Maritime Operations Officer you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing captains with vital security information and updates
  • Supporting clients effectively and efficiently through emails and calls
  • Monitoring vessel routes for safety and compliance
  • Releasing real-time maritime security incident alerts
  • Logging data accurately and ensuring smooth operational standards

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience of shift-based work in a call response or control room environment
  • Maritime experience is desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Sharp attention to detail and excellent communication skills
