Due to increased growth, they are looking for an experienced Ocean Export Operator to join their team in Manchester. Whats on offer for you! * A competitive salary – approx 35K * Life Insurance: The amount of coverage is 3 * employee’s annual base salary. * Healthcare plan: fully covered by the company. Employees can enrol their partners and children (up to the age of 25) at their own cost. * Pension: the pension plan provided is a Defined Contribution plan which is based upon an annual premium made available by the company. Your own contribution towards the premium is 5% of pensionable earnings and is deducted from your gross salary every month. The company contributes the equivalent of 4% of your pensionable earnings to the plan. * Working from home allowance: one time EUR 350 payment based on Remote Working Agreement. * Employee Assistance Program: Lyra is a new and enhanced EAP provider. It can help employees navigate issues like stress, anxiety, depression and much more through their confidential support options, including therapy and unlimited self-care options. All employees and their eligible dependents will have access to 8 free sessions per year. * Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP): offers employees an opportunity to buy company common stock at a 15% discount at the end of each quarter. * Employee Relief Fund: The company provides financial assistance to employees when tragedy strikes or crisis is unavoidable. Specific circumstances may qualify for emergency cash grants with a value of USD 500 – 2,500. * Percipio: Learning platform which includes a mix of e-learnings, videos, books, audiobooks and live events. * And to top all of this off – 22 days holiday, increasing up to 28 days depending on years service. Candidates must have at least 4 years experience within Ocean Freight Exports, customs experience is an advantage but not essential (training can be provided) Duties would include; * Documentation: Preparing and reviewing shipping documents such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists. * Customs Compliance: Ensuring all export shipments comply with UK and international customs regulations. * Freight Forwarding: Coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other parties to arrange transportation. * Booking and Scheduling: Managing freight bookings, scheduling shipments, and tracking cargo movement. * Communication: Maintaining regular communication with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues
