Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to work on a major nuclear power plant construction project in Suffolk, England.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 2-4 Section Engineers
- Utilize and recommend best engineering methods
- Apply design process knowledge
- Develop and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Provide guidance to less experienced staff
- Complete quality assurance documentation and record keeping
- Implement Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements
- Produce method statements or demonstrate understanding of their production
- Act as Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) with a strong understanding of temporary works
- Understand materials and plant requirements, including call-off schedules
- Be aware of site Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant technical/practical experience in an engineering role
- Structures experience
