Job Description
Orbital Recruitment are looking for highly motivated Skilled MIG and TIG Welders to join our client in Derby.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out refurbishment work on Rolling Stock predominately on Aluminium\\n\\nLong Term Contracts possibility of Permanent work\\n\\nImmediate starts available!\\n\\nMain Duties and Responsibilities\\n\\n * Replacing worn and corroded parts on Rolling Stock\\n\\n * Must possess the following types of skills in welding corroded and worn parts\\n\\n * Carry out work in a professional and safe manner\\n\\n * Must be to flexible to working both on and offsite\\n\\n * Must have engineering awareness\\n\\nAbout you:\\n\\n * Ideally Apprenticeship/NVQ trained\\n\\n * Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically High level of attention to detail\\n\\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment\\n\\n * Experience of rolling stock vehicle and component repairs would be advantageous\\n\\nSalary:\\n\\n * MIG welders – PAYE – £17p/h – Umbrella £21.50p/h\\n\\n * OT1 £28.66p/h – OT2 £32.25p/h up to 42 hrs\\n\\n * MIG &TIG welders PAYE – £19 – Umbrella £24.11p/h MIG/TIG\\n\\n * OT1 £30.14p/h – OT2 £36.16p/h after 42 hrs\\n\\nLodge also paid\\n\\nHours/Contract:\\n\\n * 7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Friday (39 HRS PAID)\\n\\nPlease be aware flexibility is required regarding working hours\\nWorking away on occasions required\\n\\nThe Next Step:\\n\\n * If you think this would be a great fit for you then APPLY NOW.\\n\\n * Or contact Jon Roome\\n\\n * Don't forget to follow us on Facebook for the latest updates on new jobs roles, events and more
